About Placement Cell:
Placement of all final year students is the top priority along with summer internship of first year students at GIM. The placement committee is made up of faculty member as co-coordinator and students representative (from respective speciation) from both years for campus placement process. The Placement Cell performs liaison work between the Institute and corporate. It acts as a nodal point for all placement-related activities and assists students in developing an effective job search strategy by providing relevant information and resources. It organizes pre-placement training by way of group discussions, personal interviews and workshops on personality enrichment and communication skills in an attempt to equip students with the necessary skills required to meet the challenges of recruitment.
Student placement is not a static activity, i.e. it cannot begin at certain point of time & end at particular point of time for any institute. It is the result of continuous interaction between an educational institute and industry.
